Awesome six! This is great dialog. My favorite dialog involves questions the other character refuses to answer. Really torques up the tension! And I love that he smiled in response...I wasn't expecting that, and it revealed something interesting about the character.
It's like two wrestlers sizing each other up before throwing the first punch. What fun.
