The General arranges for the trumpeter, the flag, the 21-gun salute; he provides the music proper for a send-off as well…the service anthems as well as ‘Taps,’ to end the service.
He pays attention to detail and gives proper homage in every memorial, which is why he becomes a sought-after event planner.
The General is imperfect as we all are. He’s missed out on family time and he related to his four sons more easily than with his eldest child, a daughter. What’s more, when FADEOUT opens, he’s lost his wife.
